St.  Stephen’s Mission Committee manages and/or supports the following outreach programs:

Soup collection for local food pantries through the First Congregational Church, assistance for Midnight Run, assistance for the Prison Ministry Program, filling backpacks with school supplies for needy children of Bridgeport, providing food and working at the St. James  Food Pantry, working on Habitat projects in Danbury, support for the Shoebox Program in Ridgefield, collections for our Angel Tree gifts for children at Christmas, food collections for needy families at Thanksgiving, cooking and providing Christmas dinners for area shelters.

Our Mission Committee helps to distribute funding to various local organizations (ARC, Harmony House, Safe House, Shelter of the Cross, Prison Ministries, Danbury RCAC, Women’s Center of Danbury, Ridgefield Social Services, TBICO, etc) for their use in implementing projects and providing much needed services to the local communities.
