The St. Stephen's Parishioners’ Fund is a restricted endowment bequeathed to St. Stephen's by a generous grant from Louisa Hitchcock in 1979. Its exclusive purpose is to provide financial support for those members of St. Stephen's "in need or in want".

Over the years the Fund has had many opportunities to assist parishioners and their families experiencing personal hardships. The fund is administered under published guidelines by a committee of three parishioners, who respond to all requests in a sensitive and highly confidential manner.

If you or someone you know of in our congregation needs the assistance of the Fund, we encourage you to bring these needs to the attention of one of the clergy or a member of the Parishioners’ Fund Committee. No one in St. Stephen's needs to be alone with his or her troubles.
