Mission Minded Ministry is this year’s theme. Time, Talent & Treasure... we are all blessed with all three, and St. Stephen's is able to accomplish its mission because we each choose to share a part of them in service of God. The more we give of each, the more ministry St. Stephen's can accomplish, and the more our sense of the real joy of giving. Giving joins us with our fellow members in making a reality of "Living the Word of God, and Passing it on".
Your gifts serve a Double Duty! By giving you not only make possible the ministries of St. Stephen's in 2007, but every year after that also. We aim to 'balance our books' in the next two years, eliminating deficits which have diminished our endowments. We want to leave behind more than we inherited.
Please Pledge. Your financial support means St. Stephen's can fund Youth Programs, Mission and Outreach, Church School, Heat and Light, Adult Education, Clergy and staff. What could be more important?
When you pledge, St. Stephen's can continue to build stronger missions and embrace more people. Pledge your support in Proportion to the blessings you have been given. Dare to think about your pledge as a percentage of your family income. Pledge your support as a tangible statement of financial commitment which goes hand-in-hand with your spiritual commitment.
Malachi 3:10-12 (KJV)
10: Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me
now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you
out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11: And I will rebuke the
devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground;
neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith
the LORD of hosts.
12: And all nations shall
call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of
hosts.
