Mission Committee

The Mission Committee has as its goals: To act to help those in need by managing and supporting outreach projects within our parish and near-by communities and by donating funds directly to organizations for their use to implement projects beyond their capabilities, “helping them help themselves."  In addition to donating funds, the committee conducts collections of food and/or clothing, backpacks, and Christmas presents for several non-profit organizations.  We cook and deliver Christmas dinners for 8 shelters in Danbury and we do volunteer work with a local food pantry, Habitat for Humanity, AmeriCares HomeFront and other ministries in the area.  Meetings are held once a month and all parishioners are welcome to attend and/or join the Committee.
