Prison Ministry

The Prison Ministry program undertakes projects assisting the female inmates of Bedford Hills Correctional Facility (BHCF) and their children.  One week in the summer children visit their mothers at the prison and are transported and hosted by participating parish families, enjoying an informal worship service and pizza party at the church and a barbeque, beach party at Mamanasco Beach. Throughout the year families may host children overnight and as a parish we make collections of toiletries, books, coffee, cards and magazines to the prison.
