Children's Music Ministry
Focusing on the worship of God, children in the music ministry at St. Stephen’s Church learn how to sing in a healthful manner appropriate to their age. Music is chosen that is of high quality, is singable for a given age group, and is fun and meaningful for the children to learn and perform. Elements of music will be taught in a casual and fun manner by the Minister of Music, Scott Toperzer and Parish Organist, Virginia Leeman.
The children’s music ministry is open to children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The choir rehearses following the 10:00 worship service in the choir room and dismisses at 12:00 noon. There are refreshments provided for the children at rehearsal.
