YOUTH

Middle School Youth Group

Our 6th-8th graders do various activities throughout the year, from skating to game nights to hikes and so much more. If you'd like more information and would like to help plan for some youth group opportunities, please let Sue Vogelman know.

Confirmation

In the Episcopal Church, confirmation is a sacramental
rite where a baptized person makes a public, mature
commitment to Christ and reaffirms their baptismal
vows. During the ceremony, the candidate receives the
strength of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of
hands by a bishop, preparing them for a life of Christian
service and discipleship.  At St. Stephen’s Confirmation
is a two-year program starting in 8 th or 9 th grades that
includes coursework, trips, outreach, and fun
opportunities integrated in the full ministry of our parish and community. Please speak with Sue Vogelman if you have a teen interested in Confirmation.

Mission & Service

The children of St. Stephen’s care deeply about others in our community and worldwide.  We participate and often lead in outreach and service projects such as serving the hungry at Chapel on the Green, making sandwiches or desserts for Dorothy Day House, collecting food for the local pantries, or forming a team for Safe Walk.  For more information or to join in on our outreach and service projects for all ages, please see Sue.
